Eight

Got tagged by Karmi. This time I have to write 8 random things the reader doesn't know about me.. hmm.. I bet I haven't told enough about myself apart from my friendster profile so here’s a bit more about me.

1. My heart belongs to science. It still does. I thought I "was" a veterinarian because my license expired in the Philippines and I'm currently not touching any animals. I'll be working on this soon..

2. I am a sucker for nude art. I like human forms especially female forms. I don't have any preference be it a painting, sculpture, photography, cartoon or what have you. I don't even have a favorite artist I just really like it. But I can't pose for one, I had an offer before (decades ago when insulators are lacking in my waistline) and i simply can't bring myself to do it. oh well!

3. I belonged in Robert Kiyosaki's "S quadrant" this is the self employed bracket. Just google this one if it interest you or better yet read the Cashflow Quadrant book by Robert Kiyosaki.

4. I can't survive without a goal. I always need to know where I'm heading. The "cross the bridge when you get there" doesn't work for me.

5. I grew up knowing more friends than relatives. I don't have any close cousins like most people I know. It doesn't bother me though coz I am blessed with friends, and I told them not once that "blood may be thicker than water, but water is the universal solvent".

6. I don't own any blue colored stuff. I can't wear one either.

7. I have an allergic rhinitis so I sneeze every morning and night for no apparent reason.

8. Printers don't work on me. I don’t know if there’s a magic but I can’t seem to make computer printers work. I know how to use it but it always breaks down if i'm gonna use it. That’s how I got a husband by the way. I didn't like him at first but he always repairs my printer. So there!

work detour

I should be working as of the last two hours. I kept granting myself with the sheepish 5 minutes excuse. I already tidy my baito stuff, run over my to do list a couple of times and in fact type my way through half of the page that I should be working on. Yet I'm still not done, not even halfway. Since caffeine is already kicking in my veins i nick a few more minutes to blog since I haven't done this for few months now.

In exchange of the the item that topped my wishlist, my most drooled over Canon Rebel Xti, I wholeheartedly and voluntarily agreed to my husband to fly to US instead. We got our 10 years multiple entry US visa few weeks ago with an agreeable reason that we're going on a trip primarily because my hubby has to attend to a convention and secondly because its our first year wedding anniversary. Contrary to the popular mendoksai (troublesome)and musukashi *difficult)ways of acquiring a US visa in the Phils, we got ours after a congratulations greeting from the immigration personnel with few more seconds shy of one minute. That fast!

So for my first trip (its my hubby's second so he's no virgin!yay!) we decided to hop around Southern California and Nevada.


From Santa Barbara to Las Vegas Nevada to San Diego to Long Beach! whew! just thinking about it makes me want to buy a pair of crocks! harhar! I cant wait to get reunited with my bestfriend, hopefully my sorority sister and colleagues.. much more i cant wait to give ourselves an anniversary treat!melt away!!
